Job description

We’re looking for an awesome Technical SEO Specialist (senior level) to join xfive!

More and more of our clients are asking for help with technical SEO, and right now, our in-house capacity is stretched, so we’re ready to invest in someone who can help us take it to the next level. That’s why we’re looking for a skilled Technical SEO Specialist to jump in and help us support our growing client base.

We’re not promising full-time hours right away, but the demand is definitely growing. This is an opportunity to join us on an ongoing basis, starting small, with the potential for more. If things go well, we’d love to keep working together long-term.

What’s the job about?

At xfive, we work with startups, creative agencies, and global brands. They come to us for web development, design, and increasingly, technical SEO. That’s where you come in.

As our Technical SEO Specialist, you’ll be the go-to person for identifying and implementing improvements that help websites perform better in search. You’ll work closely with our project managers and clients, bringing clarity to complex technical recommendations and making sure your insights drive real impact.

Your typical tasks will include:

  • Running and analyzing website crawls (primarily using Screaming Frog)

  • Prioritizing technical issues and opportunities, and guiding implementation

  • Reviewing and signing off on SEO-related changes before and after implementation

  • Designing structured data specifications and collaborating with developers to implement schema via plugins or custom code

  • Monitoring and optimizing websites based on GA4 and GSC data

  • Keeping an eye on SEO and search evolution (AEO, AI/voice search, etc.)

  • Explaining your findings to clients in a clear, actionable way

  • Answering client questions and offering strategic suggestions

  • Collaborating with developers and other team members to ensure SEO is baked into project workflows

  • Keeping Core Web Vitals in shape

You’ll mostly work on WordPress sites, but not only. Expect some variety.

What we offer:

A people-first company. We’re around 50 people, still small enough to care about each other, not just the bottom line. Many of our team members have been with us for 10+ years, and we’re proud of that.

Real support from real people. You won’t be left alone to figure things out. We’re the kind of team that actually helps each other out — every day.

Flexible setup. Work from anywhere, choose your own hours (with some overlap for EU/US calls when needed). We’re hiring on a B2B contract basis and are open to discussing a setup that works for you.

A bonus system that actually means something. When your work helps clients succeed, you’ll feel it, not just in praise but in your wallet.

Private healthcare and benefits. You can adjust the benefit system to match your needs.

A culture that doesn’t take itself too seriously. Sushi nights, board games, skiing trips, “xfive Days”; we work hard but make space for fun.

An actual parking spot in Kraków. Not that you need to be here, but hey, it's rare!

Job requirements

  • You’re a senior-level technical SEO with hands-on experience and strategic insight

  • You’re confident with tools like Screaming Frog, GA4, GSC, and GTM

  • Experience with platforms beyond Google, like Microsoft ecosystems, would be nice to have, though not a must

  • You know your way around structured data and schemas (FAQ, HowTo, Product, Organization, etc.)

  • You stay ahead of the curve: AEO, AI-driven search, voice queries? You’ve got thoughts

  • You can clearly explain technical issues and recommendations to clients

  • You’re proactive, organized, and good at spotting what others might miss

  • You’ve worked with WordPress extensively and are comfortable adapting to other CMSs

  • You’re familiar with Webflow and understand its limitations and edge cases; this is important in the context of our marketing and content-related initiatives

  • You speak and write fluent English (C1 level or better — most clients are from the US and UK)

  • Polish is a nice-to-have — most of our internal team is based in Poland

And that’s about it! If you’re nodding along while reading this, don’t overthink it. Apply! We’d love to meet you. 🙂
